While most people in Iowa have long been aware of Ashton Kutcher's unique brand of awfulness (spastic hyperactivity coupled with agressive ignorance), the rest of America has been a bit slower to catch up. People on Twitter love that guy!
Still, more people in America may be aware this morning after Kutcher took to his Twitter feed to lambast Penn State for firing Joe Paterno, proclaiming his love of the Hawkeyes as well
When someone apparently showed Kutcher a newspaper, that tweet was quickly taken down and replaced by this one:
I realize that Kutcher is probably a busy guy; what with the rigors of shooting one half-hour sitcom a week and making box office classic after box office classic. But as a self-proclaimed college football fan, Kutcher should be up to date on the biggest college football scandal of the year. This goes beyond willful ignorance and into borderline hermit-quality, shut-off-from-the-world-for-twenty-years level obtuseness (to be fair to Ashton, this is only slightly more dense than some Hawkeye fans).
The whole affair wrapped up with one final tweet from Kutcher:
So while the Penn State scandal is completely terrible on every level, some tiny bit of good has come from it; Joe Paterno's firing helped shut down Ashton Kutcher's twitter feed.
