Bullshit!
you’d think being self-employed would allow me the luxury of taking off today to watch the game……. I’ll be listening on the radio whilst working. Dammit. GO CLONES!!!!!!!!!!
How do you shoot women and children?!?! Easy, you just don't lead them as much.
it's on espn3.com

"Overachieved to get bowl eligible"
Is like saying the blitzkrieg is a “Hurry Up Offense”

Teams that are mediocre
Don’t deserve a post-season

Agreed.
It amazes me that these games remain viable despite the crowds.
by southbleachers on Dec 30, 2011 2:28 PM CST up reply actions
It's the ESPN contact that makes it viable anymore
That, and it’s a massive non-profit scheme scam
Executive Producer - WRNL TV
It's too bad really
The NFL mirrors a socialistic sports model – everything is designed with parity in mind, Draft picks “to each according to his need”, etc.
College Football reflects a much more capatalist system.
Executive Producer - WRNL TV
Yea, I understand that
Its just disappointing.

also an indication that NYC isn't exactly a premium "bowl destination"
and an indication of how much the true “east” teams in the Big East don’t really have much of a following for Football.
"Nor yet in Dell?"
I'm confused
What’s this field goal thing?

Iowa State has recently learned how to kick them with some consistency.
Its a nice turn of events.

Barnett
Needs to get the rust shaken off
by ISUFan22 on Dec 30, 2011 2:44 PM CST via Android app reply actions
He needs to work on passing
He’s Tebowing it out there right now

Does the CF thread exist yet?
by ISUFan22 on Dec 30, 2011 2:47 PM CST via Android app reply actions
Ha ha
Maybe if Barnett throws a couple of picks
by Mark Kieffer on Dec 30, 2011 2:48 PM CST up reply actions
Wow that field looks like crap.
I figured that something better could have been brought in for Yankee Stadium.
they could make up for it by going for 2 on all TDs for the rest of the game
if there are any TDs that is.
"Nor yet in Dell?"
Off topic...
didn’t you guys lose some coordinators between now and the end of the regular season? Have you replaced any of them yet?
"Nor yet in Dell?"
Im not an ISU fan
but I believe they agreed to stay on for the bowl games.
I doubt it'd be anybody we've heard of
Unless you really follow coaching circles closely.
by Mark Kieffer on Dec 30, 2011 3:05 PM CST up reply actions
I do know
Rhoads wants a spread coordinator, so I’d look at possible candidates who are coaching at a midmajor like CUSA
by Mark Kieffer on Dec 30, 2011 3:06 PM CST up reply actions
that was kind of my thoughts...
like what if June Jones lost his OC?
Did Houston’s OC end up getting that HC job? If not that would be solid hire IMO.
"Nor yet in Dell?"
I've heard...
Kingsbury and Tony Franklin as frontrunners.

RU needs to have a conversation with ISU's team chef.
You guys got some big boys on both sides of the ball lol
I'm running back and forth between my computer (no cable subscriber here)
and painting my kitchen. I was masking something and heard some crowd noise and remembered “oh yea there was a 4th and goal”…missed that, too bad they couldn’t get another stop.
"Nor yet in Dell?"
Would have been nice to have that false start called

well
Te did his best to miss that PAT too. If ISU keeps making him kick it will be a cakewalk.
I cant stand watching Dodd
I like Nova so much better… I am sure we will see him mid 3rd quarter or something lol.
I took the day of work off so I could watch this
well and sleep in, and paint the kitchen…but still!
"Nor yet in Dell?"
This Game
Is about execution over play calling right now and we aren’t executing.

And of course his first pass is right into the hands of a defender.
Hopefully he gets that out of his system.

worst performance out of your LBs all year?
I haven’t seen each of your games, just probably 3 or 4…so I’m no the best judge. Seems like they aren’t playing like I’m used to watching.
"Nor yet in Dell?"
perhaps they're a little more into it for the 2nd half?
That was a good place to start

For some reason, I feel the same way
I want to be into this game, but I’m just not

I seem to remember feeling pretty indifferent last year
I was a little upset the game ended the way it did (in BS mode), but I was over it pretty fast. Which seems to indicate what you suggested above.

KSU fan here...
This is really disappointing…I though for sure ISU would take care of Rutgers and bring another bowl victory home for the real Big 12. Rhodes has a quarter to figure this out.
Now or never.
Score a TD or this is over

On a scale of 1 to 91 Rushing Yards
We’re right on that 91. Awful after those first two drives (54 yards rushing) but I’m calling my shot right now.
8-4 in 2012 and a Holiday Bowl berth at worst. Losses to Texas, Oklahoma, and uh… two others.

Fucking hell. This team drives 50 yards in three plays.
Then does nothing for the rest of the game. If ISU plays the game like they play the first quarter, they win this bowl by double digit
by I am a Cyentist on Dec 30, 2011 7:18 PM CST up reply actions
Ughhhhhh
Unless Barnett really was hurt it’s nonsensical on so many levels to put in Jantz. No doubt that he had his moments this year but he really just can’t throw the ball effectively most of the time. I’d say that Rhoads opened himself up to a QB controversy but there really shouldn’t be any controversy after that display.
I’m going to try to let all of that go because Herman is going to be the scapegoat, right? Jesus Christ, ISU started the game ripping off 10 yard run after 10 yard run so that’s a great time to abandon any rushing game and start throwing every down along with the attempted trick passes. Obviously, they’ll know that we know that they can’t stop the run so they’ll be expecting a rush which is the perfect reason for us to pass! The rest of the game felt like Rutgers basically had a copy of the playbook because it was only 2 or 3 pages long for this one.
As brutal as the offense was I was really disappointed in the play of the defense as well. Poor tackling and not very good play up front. Seemed like their QBs had a lot of time to throw. I thought d-backs did well for the most part considering the size difference.
Alright. Serenity now. I’m feeling better after venting but it’s frustrating because I don’t think they played to their potential today. BUT…I didn’t expect a bowl game this year so here’s to building up to bigger and better things.
