PrintNo one should be critically injured when their team wins a game. After reading this, I am quite amazed this happened. Iowa State fans are constantly rushing the field after victories, yet the goal posts have been engineered not to come down, so no one bothers.
Hopefully, everyone will be okay and will be able to enjoy Okie State's shot at the title. The folks at OSU should call up the engineering department at Iowa State. I think they could help you out.

From what I heard...
Most of them got hurt trying to jump the very high up walls around the field onto the field. I can only bring up the image of Martin Gramatica when getting hurt while celebrating.

Speaking of images
brought up in one’s mind when hearing, “Injured while Celebrating,” I will always remember Gus Frerotte concussing himself while headbutting the wall.
Second place in my book, this CFL guy from 20 years ago spiking the ball into his own nuts.
