Much like the Oklahoma State game, today's tilt against Texas Tech is a bit of a trap game. The Red Raiders rank at the bottom of the conference, despite the arrival of Billy Clyde Gillispie. Simply put, a good team wins this game, while a team that's going to the NIT might drop this one.
It's important for Iowa State in the Big 12 and NCAA tournament race to get this one. It is what it is - a winnable game that good teams win.
