WRNL Worldwide Harvest. It's that time of the year folks, with combines rolling and leaves turning to golden brown. That means it's time for farmers to see the fruits of their labor and 2012 has been a labor. Between record high temperature and the worst drought in 70 years, 2012 has thrown it all at Iowa farmers. But Iowa State has been there step by step advising Iowa farmers at every turn. That includes myself and our family century farm in Allamakee County. Here you see myself, sporting an AHF shirt before I harvested our home farm. No surprise that an Iowa State graduate managed a record yield in this field at 236 bushels per acre. Harvest.
