How fitting is it that Texas A&M gives Kansas State their shot at a national championship after denying them one in 1998? After leaving the Big 12 to much acrimony, freshman QB Johnny "Football" Manziel (the least imaginative nickname ever) led the Aggies to a massive upset over Alabama, and provided pretty much every Big 12 fan with joy.
Kansas State and Oregon are now in the driver's seats to a clash in January, while spots 5-11 are muddled in an SEC logjam. Not a whole lot of movement otherwise, except Louisville and Oregon State being exposed as benefactors of their schedule.
