National Signing Day 2012 Open Thread
National Signing Day for Iowa State SHOULD be fairly uneventful. It appears only 2 or 3 more will be added to this class, and all current commits seem fairly strong. The only one up in the air is Damein Lawry, who recently took a visit to Mizzou.
Note: We'll be moving commits to the signed category as they sign all day, so check back on this page for updates.

As much as I love offense
I see there’s a strong trend to defense and OL on these signings. It definetely shows a committment towards building a team rather than simply trying to sign the flashiest players.
We're stocked on a lot of skill positions
Would like to see a true tight end in the class though, that part of the offense has been missing since Franklin left.

Rohach and White
are two of our best commits. I really hope we can hold on to them.

White just sent his in.
Just West Coast Rohach left.

Just coming here to troll in revenge for last night's loss.
Our class is ranked above yours! Ha Ha!
/rages at Royce White and one bad no-call while ignoring all other bad calls that favored K-State
My sig needs updated.
Too bad your entire team
has only two years of eligibility left.

Bill Snyder could win with a team composed entirely of midgets
with a goat for an offensive coordinator.

Props to you for acknowledging that.
The refs were freaking terrible the entire game. Just weird calls all around for both teams. McGruder did get jobbed though.

I only acknowledged it because I'm over here on your blog.
Over at BOTC I’m denying the hell out of it.

Some confusion about Gary Simon...
OU website just took him down from the list of signees. And Rivals is still listing him as just a commit now: http://rivals.yahoo.com/oklahoma/football/recruiting/player-Gary-Simon-120190

Or maybe not.

Would've been really nice to get him, considering that offer list
But ISU has a lot of young talent in the defensive backfield, and just signed three DBs in this class. ISU is okay at that position for awhile.

I think both Youngs (Anthony and Chris) were 4-star JUCOs in 2010
Before that, Sedrick Johnson was a 4-star wide receiver in 2008

Could be interesting
With this class coming in and what the team has to work with from last season I’m interested to hear what Wally Burnham has to say tomorrow night about the team.
I think the only 4 stars we've had that contributed anything were
Flynn and Hicks.
Reynolds might have been a 4 star too.

Odds on
Cole Netten starting next year, looking really solid, then complete shit the bed the second half of his junior year and end up on kick off duty as a senior?

I've been a fan since '96 or so
Jamie Kohl maybe. But I was like 12 at the time, so what did I know?
