KEITON PAGE AGAIN. The King of all midget basketball players seems to have a vendetta against Iowa State, so we'll see what tricks he has up his sleeve tonight. Chris Williams and Kirk Haaland both preview the game.
TWICE AS NICE for Chelsea Poppens as she picks up her second Big 12 Player of the Week on the year. Iowa State is going through a somewhat disappointing season, and it would be far worse without the monster season Poppens is having.
FROM RAGS TO RICHES. Just a year removed from almost collapsing (again), the Big 12 now seems to have enough money to throw at West Virginia in their legal battle with the Big East.
NOSTRADAMUS CONTINUED. Jalen Rose is weighing in on Iowa State again, this time proclaiming that Royce White needs to stay in school another year. Let's hope he's right on this one.
SETON HALL WISHES THEY HAD SCOTTY. Or Keiton Page, for that matter. Head coach Kevin Willard is frustrated that he has "white guys that can't shoot."
MIZZOU HOLDS ON. The Tigers avoided being Pledgered, winning 71-68 in Norman.
THE GREATEST HUSTLE DEFENSE EVER. Javale McGee doesn't care if his team still has the ball, he's getting back on defense, dammit.

In Regards to WBB
It’s really only disappointing if you look at the win/loss record. There have been struggles at the point and from behind the arc, but the main culprit has been a front loaded Big XII schedule that has made it hard to sustain any success.
Current bracketology has them around an 8/9 seed and they should get back to .500 in the Big XII and have a shot at winning a few conference tournament games. That puts them squarely back into the dance.
Of course when you consider the Elite Eight and Sweet Sixteen appearances in the past, this has indeed been a disappointing season.

Either Javale McGee is the exception to the rule or the NBA is actually starting to play defense. I don’t know what to believe anymore.
