The Mid-Morning Dump - 11/26/13

SIXTH BIGGEST VICTORY EVER. The Cyclones returned home last night and dismantled UMKC 110-51 for the sixth-largest margin of victory in men's basketball history.  The 110 points were the most scored by the Cyclones since 112 in 1998.

STARTERS TAKE A SEAT. Travis Hines takes a look at some of the stats from last night's victory and possibly the most eye popping stat of all: 24 assists.

GARY PARRISH LOVES US. This was written before last night's dismantling but Gary Parrish is a fan of Iowa State and has them ranked 14th in his Top 25 (And One).

400 AND NOT STOPPING. Bill Fennelly isn't stopping at 400 wins and he's just as intense as he ever was after hitting the mark.

SMALL TOWN TO BIG TIME. Exira, IA native Hallie Christofferson has been named to the Naismith Trophy Watch list.

S-E-Z! S-E-Z! S-E-Z! S-E-Z! You know it was a big day for basketball when the announcement of the Southeast End Zone Project gets bumped to our sixth link.   The article does not call it out, but I believe the $25M gift is the largest in school history.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE WIND? Chris Williams interviews some old Iowa State players about the impact the end zone will have and how it will affect the wind.

SENIOR NIGHT RECAP. Cyclones.TV has a recap of Senior Night complete with highlights and interviews from the seniors.

IRVING ARRAIGNMENT SET. David Irving will appear in front of a judge on December 2nd, which means he is likely traveling with the team to Morgantown this week.

HAWAII LIFESTYLE, BRO. Florida Gulf Coats's Christophe Varidel transferred to Chaminade after last season to experience the island life and had a hell of a game against Baylor in the Maui Invitational last night.

IT'S THANKSGIVING WEEK BITCHES! The Smoking Musket looks at what they're most thankful for and the top item is the Riot Bowl.
