With the huge Friday night ESPN game coming up, Steve Malchow reminds us to not forget our seniors. Kirk Haaland writes about the history of Iowa State's Senior Day, and The Register looks at the "last of Mac's Guys", Patrick Neal.

Gamewise, Steve hits on an excellent point that what Oklahoma State does is nothing special, they just do it better than everybody else out there.

It looks like we'll be over 50K in attendance again this weekend, putting a healthy gap from this year (53,309 average) to the next highest attended season in Iowa State history (1982 - 51,906).

Iowa State Basketball

Of course we've all talked about Iowa State's disappointing defeat at the hands of Drake, but on the bright side, Royce White was named Big 12 Rookie of the Week.

Around College Football

Check out USA Today's database of coaching salaries. Ferentz is #4 overall, while Rhoads is dead last in the Big 12. Turner Gill somehow is #5, outpacing Rhoads and Mike Gundy, You really have to pay for those wins at Kansas!

Spencer Hall's CFB Power Rankings... with plenty of pictures! Hilarious.

This is quickly becoming the he said she said saga. Mike McQueary and the varying tales of what he did or didn't do. Cops? No cops? Is the Joe Paterno statue outside Beaver Stadium getting taken down or not? Extremely weird how Penn State went from being completely complacent to trigger happy in the span of a month.
