Countdown to Kickoff: Days 52-50
Switching gears for this installment of the countdown. I present to you the following video:

The upset over Baylor wasn't really an upset in hindsight but coming into the game at Hilton Coliseum, Baylor was 12-3 overall, 2-0 in the Big 12, and considered one of the teams that could threaten Kansas for the conference title. What happened was a barrage of threes by Jamie Vanderbeken and Scott Christopherson and a crowd that was the loudest in a good five years. The dunk by Godfrey at the 2:50 mark of the above video is the single loudest memory I can recall in Hilton since the 2005 season. You can hear the excitement in John Walters' voice and the crowd was just as excited, if not more. Here's looking to a lot more of this in the future.
