BCS RANKED. The Cyclones are in the top 25 of the BCS rankings for the first time since.. well, ever. 7 Big 12 teams make an appearance.
FIGURING OUT THE BIG 12. Steve Malchow tries to transitive property the crap out of the Big 12.
STILL AN UNDERDOG. Oddsmakers are still unimpressed by Iowa State's BCS ranking, making them a 13.5/14 point underdog to Oklahoma State. Par for the course, really.
OSU KICKOFF. The Cyclones will kick off against the Cowboys at 11 AM on FX.
BOWL PROJECTIONS. Jason Kirk has us slotted for the Pinstripe Bowl (again), while Ubben has us headed to the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
NOW I'M CONFUSED. I've usually thought ISU fans complaining about David Ubben's perceived slight against the Cyclones as a bit oversensitive because a lot of how you perceive 4-9 in the Big 12 is in the eye of the beholder, but ranking Baylor above us right now is complete garbage.
JACKSON JEFFCOAT DONE. The already porous Texas D took a big hit with All Big 12 DE Jackson Jeffcoat out for the season. David Ash, however, appears not to be out for the remainder of the season.
YOU WOULD THINK THEY LOST. Robert Whetsell over at Cowboys Ride For Free provides a statistical breakdown and analysis of Oklahoma State's touchdown victory over Kansas. Spoiler: Quinn Sharp was the MVP.
THEY DID LOSE, AND THIS ISN'T PRETTY. Barking Carnival has a piece that is not all that kind to Mack Brown after Texas' thumping at the hands of Oklahoma.
MOUNTAINEERS WITH SENSIBILITY. Smoking Musket has a well reasoned recap of West Virginia's loss in Lubbock.
