ROUGH WEEKEND. The Cyclone men's basketball team lost to both Cincinnati and UNLV this weekend. Travis Hines investigates the foul troubles that have plagued the team.

BAD START. Iowa State wrestling kicked off the season with a loss to Old Dominion.

ON THE OTHER HAND. Volleyball had a great weekend, knocking off #3 Texas 3-2, then learning that Hilton will host first and second round NCAA tournament matches.

COE COMMITS. Iowa Western CC DE Rodney Coe is officially a Cyclone.

BOWL PROJECTIONS. David Ubben has us going to Heart of Dallas, as does CBS Sports and Mark Schlabach and Brad Edwards of ESPN. while SB Nation has us headed to Nashville.

GOODBYE GENE. Chizik was fired as coach of the Auburn Tigers yesterday.

KENT STATE BCS BOUND? Could Kent State break into a BCS bowl game?

BWW INTERFERENCE. The sprinklers turned on in the middle of the Miami Dolphins game yesterday.
