BIG MONDAY IS BIG. Randy Peterson details why tonight's matchup is a big deal for a variety of reasons. Meanwhile, Steve Malchow says the hype machine is in full effect for tonight.

FIRST TIME SINCE 2006. This is the first time Iowa State will be on Big Monday since 2006.

BUBBLE BOOST. Iowa State could use the boost from a KU victory to get off the bubble completely.

Most noteworthy was probably the fact that Melvin Ejim somehow outdid himself on "Ejim fouls", picking up a foul for getting elbowed in the face.

LADIES WIN TOO. Four players in double figures meant that the women also cruised to a victory, 69-50 over Kansas State.
