EASY WIN. The ladies put up a solid defensive effort and rolled over the Texas Longhorns, 67-48.

MAURICE JONES INELIGIBLE. The NCAA has ruled that Maurice Jones' poor academic standing at USC (It's been spotless in Ames, from what I've heard) has made him ineligible to ever play for the Cyclones.

KJ BLUFORD COMMITS. Never one to dwell on bad news, Fred Hoiberg signed JUCO guard K.J. Bluford, who's taken 244 threes already this season at Northeast CC.

SO IN. Randy Peterson says stop wondering, the Cyclones will be safely into the NCAA tourney on Selection Sunday.

RECRUITING CAMPOS. Even after Jake Campos committed to Missouri, Paul Rhoads didn't give up, and it paid off today.

DOUGLAS SELLS TRIBUNE. Troy Douglas got Nigel Tribune to switch back to Iowa State by ripping on the passing in the Big Ten.
