BIG 12 AWARDS. Lots of Cyclones get recognition in the Big 12 coaches' awards. Everything seems about right, except the conference's leading assist and point man Pierre Jackson not making first team, and leading Big 12 rebounder Melvin Ejim only being third team.

KANSAS CITY STAR FLIPS THEM. Melvin Ejim makes their 2nd team, while Clyburn is left out.

ONE MORE FOR GOOD MEASURE. Will Clyburn picks up the final 2012-13 Big 12 Rookie of the Week award.

RIGHT ON CUE. Steve Malchow writes a post about how important Will Clyburn has been in the Cyclones' wins.

BRACKETOLOGY. Joe Lunardi has Iowa State as one of his last four byes, SB Nation has ISU playing Wisconsin as a bye team, while Jerry Palm moves the Cyclones up a seed, but still in a first round matchup against Tennessee.

CONFERENCE PARITY? Randy Peterson says the Big 12 is the perfect picture of men's parity.

YOUR PRIZE IS A DATE WITH GRINER. The Iowa State women routed Oklahoma in the Big 12 tournament and will be playing Baylor for the championship tonight.

BAYLOR, YOUR SCHEDULE... WOOF. Iowa State checks in at #4 in the ranking of the Big 12's non conference slates, while Baylor and K-State's are just... awful.

B1G STRENGTH. Sure, the Big Ten is the best basketball conference in the nation this year, but it's not helping Iowa that much.

B1G ANGER. Tom Crean's Indiana team beat Michigan, so he celebrated by freaking out on Wolverine assistant and former IU assistant Jeff Meyer.

BRAWL BRAWL BRAWL. Mexico and Canada went to war at the World Baseball Classic, and it's because of "unwritten rules".

BRANDON KNIGHT'S TEAMMATES WILL NEVER LET HIM FORGET THIS.
