Okay fellas, this is a big one tonight. Win this one and we're going back to the NCAA tournament. We all know what we need to do and we all know how hard we have to play to come out with a victory tonight.

That being said, I've got a letter here that I want to share with all of you. This comes from Little Orphan Timmy over at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Orphanage.

Dear Coach Fred,

My name is Little Orphan Timmy and I've lived at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Orphanage for the last 4 years. It's been a tough life and I've had some real struggles during that time. I got polio when I was 5, had pneumonia when I was 6 and went partially blind at 7.The other guys like to pick on me and give me a hard time, but I push on.

Some say that I got a raw deal in life, but I don't think so. A couple years back, I became a fan of the Iowa State Cyclones and following you guys has been a real treat and the only thing that makes me happy.

Anyway, I know you guys have a big game against Oklahoma State on Wednesday night and I'm sure you're busy planning, but if you could, I would really appreciate it if you told the guys to win one for me, Little Orphan Timmy.

I don't know how much longer I have left with all my ailments and all, but I want to see my Cyclones back in the NCAA tournament at least one more time. Tell Will to be aggressive and attack the basket. Tell Georges to bang inside. Tell Melvin to be a beast on the boards. Tell Korie to run the team and be a leader on the floor. Tell Chris to play great defense and knock down a few 3's. Tell Tyrus to hit 6...no, 7 3's just for me. Tell Percy, and Anthony and Bubu to provide good minutes off the bench. Could you do that for me Coach Fred?

Well, I have to get back to my geography studies before Sister Mary Sarah Catherine Elizabeth gets angry, but I'll be listening on the radio and good luck!
