As the calendar flips to March the Cyclones begin to round in to form as they carry a four game winning streak in to the Octagon of Doom in Manhattan. For Iowa State this game is another opportunity to improve seeding in both the Big XII tournament and the NCAAs. For Kansas State a win here all but punches their ticket to the dance and would result in their fourth Top 15 win at home in conference.
In the last match up Iowa State appeared to be poised to run away with the game before an ill-timed lack of execution gave Kansas State eight points in only 30 seconds of game time late in the second half. However, in the end the Cyclones buckled down to take the Farmageddon match up in Hilton, 81-75.
Enjoy some brews and get ready for another fun Farmageddon tilt.
