WAS HOPING FOR HIGH MOTOR. Georges Niang checks in at #10 on The Big Lead's Best Players in College Basketball, and they note his high IQ instead of his time with Nerlens Noel.

GREEK'ED. Georgios Tsalmpouris will play for the Greek U-18 team in this month's European Championships.

BUILDING A DYNASTY. The All Iowa Attack has branched out from AAU basketball into volleyball and is headed by a familiar face to Cyclone fans.

GREAT ADDITION. Cyclone Fanatic is adding former Cedar Rapids Gazette writer Rob Gray to its staff.  Gray is a great writer and will be the lead writer on their football and basketball coverage.

SICK OF SOCCER? Too bad.  Grantland breaks down what to do next and what leagues to follow.
