Prediction

Been awhile since I wrote one of these, but I see the game breaking down on these two factors:

1. Turnover Margin

2. Explosive Plays

The team that wins the battle of those two areas likely wins this game. Iowa State hasn't been careless with the ball this season, but they haven't been stellar either. While they're finding explosive plays on offense and limiting them on defense they have yet to play a legitimate Big 12 offense until today. If the Cyclones go +3 in TO margin and keep Tech to five explosive plays or less they win by a TD. Anything else is a Tech victory.

Texas Tech 31, Iowa State 30

Editor's Note: It's the first conference road game of the season, so bring the heat today. If comments get large and there's a GIF explosion we'll split the GameThread for the second half.
