Iowa State No. 7 in AP Preseason Top 25

ALL ABOARD THE HYPE CHARIOT! SIBILABIT SIBILABIT!

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Iowa State Cyclones find themselves in the top-10 of another preseason poll (the one that people actually semi-care about). ISU is sitting pretty in the No. 7 slot behind perennial basketball powerhouses North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, and Virginia with recent top-of-the-heap Maryland rounding out the list. Oklahoma, Gonzaga, and Wichita State fill out the remaining top 10.

The Big 12 is well represented with Oklahoma (8) and Baylor (22) cracking the top 25. West Virginia (28) landed just outside and Texas and Oklahoma State also received votes.

The 2015-2016 season is shaping up to be another strong schedule with nine teams that received votes making an appearance on the Cyclones' slate.
