There's a new leader atop the Big 12 standings after a disappointing performance by Oklahoma State at home.

Week 11 Results

West Virginia Mountaineers 49 - Kansas Jayhawks 0

In their final tuneup for the Riot Bowl, West Virginia became bowl eligible in Lawrence midway through the first quarter. The rest of the game was simply a formality.

Kansas has one more games to play before they can call it a year, hosting K-State this weekend. Good luck, Jayhawks.

Iowa State Cyclones 35 - Kansas State Wildcats 38

I had to leave midway through the 3rd quarter to attend my kids' soccer matches. What'd I miss?

(10) Baylor Bears 45 - (6) Oklahoma State Cowboys 35

The Cowboys were supposed to have the easiest path to the playoffs with both remaining games in Stillwater. Now what for the Big 12?

(18) TCU Horned Frogs 29 - (7) Oklahoma Sooners 30

Oklahoma's offense ran for 333 yards, 188 by Samaje Perine, as the new hope Sooners survived their test against a TCU team that was without two of its superstars.

The Horned Frogs' hopes of a come-from-behind-upset in Norman were swatted away when Bram Kohlhausen's 2-point conversion pass was knocked from the air by an Oklahoma player.

Gary Patterson plays to win. I can respect that.
