What to Know
Cyclones, McKay Nail Cougars - When we last left our beloved Cyclones, they were taking it to Chicago State in a 106-64 victory that saw Jameel McKay make roughly 12,685 dunks.
We're Talking Chattanooga - Think of this like last year's game against Georgia State. The name of the opponent might not scare you, but they're actually a good squad that's proven they can hang with Power 5 teams.
Chattanooga-Iowa St. Preview - Iowa State has never lost a game (10-0) against teams from the Southern Conference according to ESPN's preview. However, don't be surprised if the Mocs hit a bunch of 3-pointers tonight. They're hitting 12 per game so far this year.
Chattanooga Heads to Iowa State - Mid Major Madness, the SB Nation site for pretty much all mid major teams, dishes on tonight's game. They're picking the Cyclones to win by only five points.
Prediction
As you've probably heard already, the Mocs have knocked off both Georgia and Illinois this year, so they're fully capable of coming in and giving the Cyclones some trouble if they shoot the ball well and ISU's shots aren't dropping.
Unfortunately for Chattanooga, that rarely happens in Hilton Coliseum, especially during the non-conference. I think this one could be close at halftime, but Iowa State's talent will eventually overcome the Mocs and it'll end up being a comfortable victory for the home team when the final buzzer sounds.
Iowa State 85, Chattanooga 66
