Iowa St.-Cincinnati Preview - The Bearcats feature an excellent defense, and will likely frustrate the Cyclones at times.

Prediction

This is arguably the toughest non-conference game on the schedule for Iowa State. Going on the road to play a ranked opponent is never easy, let alone one that your players are unfamiliar with the other team's personnel.

However, I think this is the game where we start to see Steve Prohm's coaching really take effect. While lots of people probably see this as a bad outcome for ISU, I think the UNI loss will have jolted them alive and they'll come out with renewed focus against a quality opponent.

I'll take a nerve-wracking bounce back win where the lead never gets into double digits for either team.
