DECEMBER 31, 1972. A plane carrying Pirates Hall of Fame outfielder Roberto Clemente crashes shortly after takeoff in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The plane was chartered by Clemente to deliver food and relief supplies to survivors of a recent earthquake in Nicaragua. He and five others were killed, and his body was never recovered.

MAESTRO MORRIS. Iowa State's best facilitator in recent memory called his shot before tipoff, then went out and did it. Except his ten-assist prediction came true in the first half alone.

Around The Country
WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED? Al Jazeera gets a shot at redemption with this report on what we've learned from 500 concussions in three years of football.
BEST OF THE ASSOCIATION. Check out the top 100 plays of the 2015 NBA season.

MY BALL, FUCK YOU, SEE YA. I don't have a good synopsis for this, so just read.
TACO TRANSFER. Another Texas Tech QB is transferring. With its recent addition of Kyler Murray, I don't think Davis Webb is heading to Oklahoma.
YOU DO YOU, CARDALE. Cardale Jones is a 23 year old junior, never lost a game as a starter, got benched this year anyway, AND HE'S GOING PRO, Y'ALL.
FOOL ME THREE TIMES? Wisconsin LB Jake Cichy recorded three straight sacks on the same drive last night. USC punted on 4th and 40.
