SWEEPING THROUGH THE MOUNTAIN(EER)S. The Cyclones put together a solid 40 minute effort to beat West Virginia by 20.

POWER COUPLE? Georges Niang takes a Sunday Sitdown with the folks at Sports Illustrated and reveals his crush on Iowa's pint-size sweetheart.

SLUMP TIME. The Cyclone Women are having a rough time losing five of their last six with the latest loss at Oklahoma State.

SUNS BEDEVILED.  The Cyclone Wrestlers started the weekend strong with a win over ASU.

PANTHERS REVENGED. And they ended the weekend stronger with a win over UNI.

CHALK UP ANOTHER ONE. Baylor tried and failed to unseat Kansas.

HELP FOR A BROTHER. Our brothers in Farmageddon did us a solid and beat Oklahoma. Thanks for 2nd place, Marcus!

RIBBIT? TCU finally put it all together to beat Oklahoma State.

STILL NOT RIGHT. Even Texas Tech couldn't make Texas look like the team they were supposed to be as the Longhorns beat the Red Raiders.

SCORPIONS ON A PLANE. Not snakes but a scorpion on a plane carrying the Oregon State basketball team caused a delay after stinging a passenger.

BRINGING BACK THE BOOM.  The Timberwolves' Zach LaVine gave us a reason to start watching the NBA All-Star Dunk Contest again.

MAKING FUN. Saturday Night Live compiled a montage of it's best sports sketches of the last 40 years.  Manning beaning kids with a football is still the best.

OH, AND THERE WAS AN ALL-STAR GAME. The NBA All-Star game tried to put on a spectacle.
