That "L" word happened with that blue and red team again on Monday, reigniting some of the Iowa State conference title talk. It's been hashed and re-hashed at this point, but the formula always depends on one thing for ISU to have a chance: winning games.
More specifically: road games. Tonight, the Cyclones return to Gallagher-Iba Arena to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a matchup between two teams that always seems to deliver. Back in January, Iowa State clipped OSU by coming up with a key defensive stop at the last second. Dustin Hogue blocked Tavarius Shine with less than a second remaining and Georges Niang got a hand on Phil Forte III's desperation shot to seal the two point victory for the Cyclones.
If you need a reminder what happened last year at Oklahoma State, here you go:

I expect it to be another close one, and probably a bit faster than the 63-61 game in Hilton earlier this year. It's going to be very tough for Iowa State to escape GIA with another win, especially if "road" ISU shows up.
