Around Iowa State

DOOMED! The Cyclones lost to Kansas State in the Octagon of Doom proving that this team is horrible and has no heart and can't close out games and will lose out in the Tournaments.  Oh what's that you say, they dropped two straight just before the end of last season, too?

BLOOMED! On Senior Day the roses presaged the contest as the Cyclone Women defeat #3 Baylor to probably clinch a berth in the NCAA tournament.

ASSUMED. Tommy Birch gives us 5 storylines on ISU Football heading into Spring Practice.  Hot seats, running back questions, and JUCO potential are the obvious ledes.

CONSUMED. Chris Williams takes his own crack at five topics on ISU football.

Around the Big 12

ROCKED. Texas Tech gives Oklahoma State the Cyclone Treatment leaving the Cowboys in a precarious situation.

CHALKED. Baylor beats West Virginia for the sweep and the best shot at the Big 12 three seed.

JAYHAWKED. Kansas holds of Texas in the Phog the way they normally do, with a little help from their friends.

WE'RE FOCKED. Oklahoma held off a strong TCU challenge to put themselves in a driving second in the Big 12.

Around The Country

MORE STAMINA THAN MOST MEN. Ronda Rousey forced the tap out from Cat Zingano in just 14 seconds on Saturday. That's her eighth sub-minute win.

CHAOS AND DESTRUCTION. The Cyclones loss was just one part of a wild weekend of college basketball.

LIKE AN 'EERS GAME. The Jameses got into a tussle and the refs just watched, kind of like any given game in Morgantown.
