The Preview
2015 Game II: Iowa State vs. Iowa Preview
ISU Offense vs. Iowa Defense: Dead even. Iowa State will look to attack Iowa's linebackers with their wide receivers. The matchup between Iowa's D-line and ISU's O-line could determine the outcome of the game.
Iowa Offense vs. ISU Defense: Advantage, neither. The lines will again be a great matchup, but the Cyclones will have to stop the run and hope their secondary can contain quarterback CJ Beathard's passing attack.
Special Teams: Advantage Iowa State. Coming off their great punt return performance against UNI last week, the Cyclones will look to repeat the performance against the Hawkeyes.

Prediction
Both teams ran over their FCS opponents last week, but Iowa did it in a more traditional fashion. ISU benefitted largely from a great special teams performance and a refreshing new defensive scheme. Meanwhile, CJ Beathard looks like he could provide the Hawkeyes with their best quarterbacking since the days of "Love it or leave it" Ricky Stanzi
If the last few years are any indication, this year's game should be close - and ugly.
Iowa 24, Iowa State 21
