Malou Commits to Iowa State
Emmanuel Malou gave his verbal commitment to Coach Steve Prohm and the Cyclones this afternoon. The 6'9" power forward's commitment wraps up a process that Iowa State has been in on since Malou's days at ABCD prep school in Des Moines.
As a freshman at Yuba College in California, "Manny" averaged 14.7 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Malou picked the Cyclones amidst offers from Kansas, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oklahoma State and a stable of others.
Malou is the third future Cyclone to join the 2016 class joining point guard Donovan Jackson and fellow power forward and Californian, Solomon Young. It's been a long time coming, and it feels great to say that Emmanuel Malou is finally a Cyclone!
Basketball has taken me to many different states in America, I'm happy to say that my next home will be Iowa State. pic.twitter.com/8vApIa7ZCF
