What to Know

Baylor 94, Iowa State 89: Charge Like an Egyptian - On Saturday, the Cyclones suffered a rare defeat in Hilton Coliseum, falling to the Baylor Bears at home for the second consecutive season.

We're Talking Texas - The Longhorns are without double-double machine Cameron Ridley tonight, but they still have plenty of talent.

Texas vs. Iowa State Preview - Count the folks over at Burnt Orange Nation as members of the "Glad Georges Niang is Gone After This Season" club.

Iowa St.-Texas Preview - Texas has yet to put together a complete offensive game since losing Ridley to a broken foot.

Prediction

I was on the Texas bandwagon before the season started, but they have not lived up to expectations (sound familiar?) so far this year. No one could have seen the injury to Ridley happening, which has made it all the harder for Shaka Smart in his first year in Austin.

Seeing as how the Longhorns have been struggling offensively lately, look for the good ol' slumpbuster to happen tonight against Iowa State. I picked this game as one of three road losses for the Cyclones back in November, and I'm sticking to my prediction.

If Iowa State DOES lose, the meltdown is going to be epic. I'm not looking forward to that at all. Pray for a win.
