Recap: SENIOR DISCOUNTED. Cyclones Send Jayhawks, Ellis Home as Losers - The Cyclones put together a strong second half to defeat Kansas in Hilton 85-72.
We're Talking Texas A&M - Cylentbutdeadly says "Who cares?" regarding who wins today's game.
Iowa St.-Texas A&M Preview - ISU is coming off a win over perennial conference champion Kansas, while TAMU just fell on the road to Arkansas.
I kinda share the same viewpoint as CBD does about the result of today's game. Win and it's a nice mark on the resume come tournament selection time, but lose and it doesn't have much of a downside. Iowa State should be more focused on the conference race right now, and we may see some of the starters not play their usual load of minutes today on the road in College Station.
Texas A&M is a good team, but I think they're slightly overrated at No. 5 in the nation. The last time ISU played A&M at their place, Royce White went off for a triple-double while he had the flu. Does that have any impact on today's game? Nah. But hey, good memories!
I honestly don't know what to expect for the outcome today, but I'll take the Clones because I picked them to win this game before the season. I didn't expect the Aggies to be this good back then, but ISU can beat anyone when they're on.
