Prediction
As weird as it sounds, tonight's game in Hilton Coliseum against Texas Tech won't be easy for Iowa State. The Red Raiders have proven they're a worthy opponent this year, having lost only one game all season and knocking off the Texas Longhorns in their Big 12 opener.
An 0-2 start in conference play would be disastrous, and every home game from here on out is a must-win if the Cyclones are to compete for a Big 12 regular season title. Tech has proven they can hang with - and beat - Iowa State if ISU doesn't come out ready to play (see Lubbock, last year).
I don't think the Red Raiders will come into Hilton and win tonight, but I think it'll be a game that's much too close for comfort. If I'm right, expect the uneducated ISU fans to start the "sky is falling" parade due to only beating Tech by a few points in Hilton.
If the margin of victory is larger than this, I wouldn't be upset!
