College Football Week 7 Open Thread

Can Tennessee dust off the magic wand again?

NCAA Football: Wisconsin at Michigan Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Week 7 is upon us! I really don’t want to keep thinking how fast this season is moving along, but it is flying!

We have some games once again that will make major impacts on the College Football Playoff. Alabama will travel to Tennessee. The Vols finally ran out of magic last week, and if they want to keep their name in the hat, they are going to have to knock off the number one team this week.

In the Big Ten, Ohio State will travel to Wisconsin to take on the Badgers. Wisconsin hung with Michigan, but can they score enough points to pull off a win against Urban Meyer? Also in the Big Ten, Nebraska has cracked the top 10, and surprisingly haven’t screwed it up yet either. They will travel to Indiana, who always tends to give opposing teams fits. Can they escape the upset-minded Hoosiers?

In the ACC, North Carolina will travel to Clemson. UNC has already pulled off one upset this year. Can they go into Death Valley and knock off Clemson?

There’s some good games this week, plus the game of the week in Austin. Grab a beer kids, we are going to have some fun.
