It appears not every Cyclone had a horrific fourth quarter on Saturday. Georges Niang had another impressive performance Saturday night for the Indiana Pacers in their 121-105 loss against Fred Hoiberg’s Chicago Bulls.
Georges Niang the definite highlight of the fourth for the Pacers: 16 points, 1 assist, 2 rebounds. Made 4 of 6 shots from long range.

The former Cyclone played just 12 minutes against his former coach, but it didn’t limit his production. Niang tallied 16 points and 2 rebounds while going 4-6 from three point range.
Georges Niang with 16 points in 12 minutes. Who says you need to be quick or able to jump at all?

Niang was coming off a less than stellar performance Thursday night, which oddly enough was also against the Chicago Bulls and Fred Hoiberg. After bouncing back with another solid performance, the forward is now averaging over 10 points per game while averaging just over 15 minutes per contest.
After the game, Niang and Hoiberg took a moment for a photo that is sure to bring a smile to the faces of many Cyclone fans.
Niang and the Pacers will travel to Milwaukee on October 12th for a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The game will start at 6:30 PM. Fred Hoiberg’s Bulls are in action this upcoming Friday against LeBron James and the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
