Iowa State knocked off Indiana State on Thanksgiving in a game that was much closer than most people anticipated. The Cyclones shot poorly from the field and free throw line and were a last-second 3-point rim-out away from losing their opening game of the Advocare Invitational.
Instead, Steve Prohm's squad escaped with a W and now plays Miami, who defeated Stanford 67-53 to advance in the bracket. Look for Iowa State to try and get back on track shooting the ball today in hope of advancing to the championship game of the tournament on Sunday.
Go Cyclones!
