Week 10 College Football Open Thread

All eyes are going to be on LSU and Alabama.

NCAA Football: Louisiana State at Alabama Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

We are at week 10 of college football. Things are moving by quickly! Not sure how to feel about that right now. It’s a damn shame that college football doesn’t go all year.

Week 10 has some great matchups that may ultimately put a nail in some conference races for a few teams. The big one is in Baton Rouge: Alabama at LSU. Bama is favored by single digits for the first time this season, and if Ed Orgeron can find someway to beat them, he may just be what the doctor ordered long-term for LSU.

In the Big Ten, Nebraska will have another test on their hands. Their game against Ohio State will essentially be a must-win for the Cornhuskers if they want a little breathing room in the Big Ten West. It will be a tough matchup as they will have to deal with a hostile environment in Columbus.

Hey, for the hell of it, if you enjoy stress on Hawkeye fans, Iowa’s making an appearance at Happy Valley. Should be a fun game to watch unfold.

Grab a beer, you can’t go wrong with a Saturday like this.
