Iowa beat reporter Jeremiah Davis of the Cedar Rapids Gazette joined us to preview the Iowa vs Iowa State basketball game. Jeremiah, an ISU graduate, discussed his time in Ames as well as his time as a beat reporter for the Northern Iowa men's basketball team.
Cyclone fans are no stranger to a kick to the groin, but they’ve never had one quite like UNI fans experienced. What was the UNI locker room like after their collapse against Texas A&M?
We discussed the defensive woes the Hawkeyes have had so far this season, and whether there is any chance the Hawkeyes can correct them before Thursday evening. Jeremiah also gave us some insight on the young Hawkeyes (Bohannon, Pemsl, Moss and Cook).
The Hawkeyes are coming off a 95-68 victory over Stetson Monday evening. The Cyclones also played Monday evening and routed Omaha (who recently beat the Hawkeyes) by a score of 91-47.
The Hawkeyes and Cyclones tip-off at 7 PM Thursday evening in Iowa City. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
