Getting Up to Speed

Recap: We Don't Need No Stinkin' Rebounds! - Despite giving up 21 offensive rebounds, Iowa State defeated TCU 92-83 in Ames thanks to the Cyclone basketball offensive machine. And, oh yeah, Jameel McKay did the whole "DNP - Coach's Decision" thing.

We're Talking West Virginia - The game against WVU in Hilton was a disaster. Will the Cyclones be able to reverse their fortunes this time around?

Iowa St.-West Virginia Preview - Abdel Nader has kicked his game up a notch lately and "turned into Steph Curry overnight" according to Georges Niang.

Prediction

Chances are, you're predicting one of two things tonight:

1. Iowa State comes out and completely surprises everyone. Jameel McKay comes back from his suspension that wasn't actually a suspension and goes for roughly 100,000 points and 80,000 rebounds en route to a nice Cyclone victory.

OR

2. The heartbreaking losses and frustrating decisions continue in key games for ISU.

When the Cyclones lose, it's never by much. So you won't see me pick a big loss tonight even though it feels like this evening has the potential for the typical crash and burn outing. However, of the above two scenarios, I'm thinking numero dos is more likely to happen.
