Getting Up to Speed

Cyclones Ride McKay, Pull Away Late Against Kansas State - Jameel McKay had a monster 14 point, 17 rebound performance against the Wildcats and helped ISU to a 80-61 win.

Oklahoma St.-Iowa St. Preview - Iowa State isn't in the running for the Big 12 title anymore, but they might be setting themselves up to make a postseason splash.

Prediction

It's been well-chronicled, but tonight is the last time that Georges Niang, Jameel McKay and Abdel Nader will play in Hilton Coliseum. Also, depending on his NBA Draft decision, it could be Monte Morris' as well. It will certainly be a bittersweet night for fans in HIlton and all across Cyclone Nation.

For the outcome, there's almost no chance that OSU wins tonight in the seniors' last home game. In fact, I'd wager that this one will be closer to blowout status than it is to a nail-biter.

Make sure that if you're going to Hilton tonight, you stick around for the senior night speeches after the final buzzer. Coach Prohm is starting a tradition of having his seniors each give a speech following their last home game (as he's done at his stops prior to Ames). I'm sure Niang's is going to cause Hilton to flood all over again due to all the tears that will be shed.
