Iowa State will be without the services of senior forward Jameel McKay as the athletic department announced an indefinite suspension for McKay earlier:

McKay later tweeted this in response:

Sources tell WRNL that McKay has been at odds with coaches and teammates this season with it culminating this week with a missed practice and McKay "quitting" the team.
An already thin Iowa State roster will now head to Gallagher-Iba Arena with only six players who have played something resembling consistent minutes in Big 12 play. Although Iowa State's small ball line up of Monte Morris, Matt Thomas, Deonte Burton, Abdel Nader, and Georges Niang is more offensively adept than the line up with McKay, it'll be their defensive abilities that will be called in to question.
This is a game where Iowa State cannot afford foul trouble. Whether or not freshman forward Simeon Carter will see minutes is up in the air, but this will most likely be a game where the Cyclones just try to survive and win in any way possible.
Iowa State at Oklahoma State tips off at 1 PM on ESPN 2 tomorrow.
