Charlie Kolar, a 6'6", 227 tight end prospect from Norman, Oklahoma, has committed to be the next member of Cyclone Squad '17. This commitment comes on the first day of what is a huge recruiting weekend for Iowa State, who figures to have more than 20 visitors on campus. The commitment was first reported by Alex Halsted of Scout.com.

Charlie is a 2-star tight end on services where he actually has a ranking, but many services have not yet fully evaluated the young prospect. Charlie is a 4.0 student and had 52 catches for 920 yards and 13 touchdowns for his high school team last season.
Charlie Kolar is the 13th addition to the Cyclones' 2017 class and more could very well be on their way soon. Stay tuned for all the updates from this exciting weekend.
