The future Iowa State interior defensive line received two HUGE boosts on Sunday. First, JUCO defensive tackle Kamilo Tongamoa pledged his loyalty to ISU early in the afternoon. Most recently, another defensive tackle, Ray Lima, committed to the Cyclones as well.

Lima hails from Torrance, California and stands at 6-foot-3, 310 pounds. Like Tongamoa, Lima is a JUCO, as he currently attends El Camino College. His announcement puts Iowa State at a total of 19 commitments in the class of 2017.
In addition to ISU, Lima also held offers from college football powers Oregon and Arizona. He was on a visit to Ames over the weekend, and what he saw during the visit likely led to his Sunday night decision.
This is unquestionably one of the best recruiting days in Iowa State history when it comes to the defensive line. Getting two 300-plus pound linemen within 12 hours of each other isn’t a common occurrence for the program.
Campbell and Co. continue to tear it up on the recruiting trail!
