WRNL Podcast: Iowa State Basketball Recruiting With Rivals Analyst Corey Evans

What can we expect from the “Fab Four”?

NCAA Basketball: Big 12 Media Day Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The early signing period for college basketball recruiting has arrived. We brought Rivals national basketball analyst Corey Evans on the podcast to discuss the four players Steve Prohm will sign in the next few days.

We know the hype surrounding this class but Corey thinks the class could be even better than the hype.

“I think this could turn out to be a Top 10 class,” Evans said.

He compared one of the recruits to Michael Carter-Williams and said Iowa State might not be done yet on the recruiting trail. Could Tyler Harris still be in the mix?

“He is 50/50 on whether to sign in the fall or the spring. I could definitely see Iowa State adding him at some point as I believe it is 50/50 between Memphis and the Cyclones,” Evans said about Tyler Harris.

If you want 15-20 minutes of straight Iowa State basketball kool-aid, this is your podcast. You can follow Corey on Twitter @coreyevans_10.

Levi and Austin stayed on after Corey hung up to discuss this week’s football game against Oklahoma State.

Is this the biggest game of the year? If Iowa State has hopes of a Big 12 championship it sure is. Remember, if the Cyclones win out they should be playing in Dallas early this December.
