The win over Baylor was enough for Iowa State to be ranked once again.

Iowa State is surging at the right time this season and is now back in the AP Top 25 at No. 24. The Cyclones have won five in a row and will go for their sixth straight victory on Tuesday night against Oklahoma State.

Kansas is now the top ranked team in the nation after previously unbeaten Gonzaga lost to BYU on Saturday night. West Virginia, who Iowa State travels to face on Friday, is ranked No. 10 and Baylor fell to No. 11. Oklahoma State also received some votes, setting up the highly-anticipated match up on Tuesday.

With conference tournaments starting this week and the power conferences wrapping up the regular season, there’s sure to be a lot of surprises coming our way over the course of the next few weeks. West Virginia will travel to Waco tonight to take on Baylor in a game that has major Big 12 Tournament seeding implications.
