Australian punter Corey Dunn committed to Iowa State on Friday.

Matt Campbell had the unenviable task of filling holes in his specialist group going forward, and after only a few weeks he has both his kicker and punter locked down for the foreseeable future. However, the man known for labeling Iowa State "The Big 12 Team of the Midwest" went Down Under to gain his latest commitment.

Corey Dunn out of the City College of San Francisco committed to Iowa State earlier Friday. Alex Halsted broke the news a few hours ago.

Currently, Iowa State is Dunn’s only offer, but his commitment fills a major void that will be left by Colin Downing after this upcoming season. Dunn had 33 punts last season and pinned 10 of those inside the opponents 20 yard line; while also averaging close to 40 yards per punt attempt.

Now that the specialist holes are filled we should start to see some of Iowa State’s big targets take center stage in the recruiting news. It appears coach Campbell will have us in for another fun recruiting season. Iowa State currently has four commitments in the 2018 recruiting class.
