We have known for sometime that Iowa State was going to be an inexperienced team next season. Now they have added some more experience to their team.
Steve Prohm landed a commitment from graduate transfer Zoran Talley today. He will graduate in August from Old Dominion and will be immediately eligible for this upcoming season. Talley will have two seasons to play for Iowa State. Alex Halsted broke the news Thursday afternoon.

Talley was the Conference USA sixth man of the year last season. He averaged 11.3 points a game and grabbed 3 rebounds a game as well. He was dismissed from ODU in April violating team rules. It is unclear how he will fit in with this years team, but it will be a nice addition and a piece that Steve Prohm can use to help this year.
“We are excited to add Zoran to our program, He has had great success, both personally and as a team, at ODU and will be an asset for our team. Zoran brings versatility on both ends of the floor and his ability to play and guard several positions will benefit us. He can score and make plays and with him being immediately eligible, that is great for us.” Coach Prohm said in a press release this afternoon.
Coming out of high school he had offers from Old Dominion, La Salle and Arkansas Little-Rock. With Talley on board Iowa State now has one open scholarship left for the upcoming year. It is unclear how that scholarship will be used.
