Iowa State was in need of a defensive line commit. Monday night, they got one.
Isaiah Lee was recently offered by Matt Campbell and it was Lee’s first Power 5 offer. It didn’t take long for him to make up his mind. Alex Halsted was the one to break the news of Lee’s commitment to the Cyclones on Monday.

Lee is a 3-star defensive tackle prospect, boasting an 84 composite ranking on 247Sports. He had offers from Colorado State, Ball State, Central Michigan and a few other Missouri Valley schools. Coach Campbell had Lee on his radar for a few months and they finally pulled the trigger on an offer.
Lee has high upside and may be a redshirt project depending on his development during his senior year. He’s the 58th-ranked defensive tackle in the 2018 class and is Iowa State’s 12th commit in the class. Look for ISU to continue recruiting efforts across the defensive front, as it’s one of their smallest positions depth-wise.
Stay tuned to WRNL for more recruiting news as it happens!
