Down the Pipe & Natty Lite - Episode 20: Farmageddon, All-Big 12 Selections, Drake?, and Basketball

After one of the most exciting editions of Farmageddon yet, Levi, Cole, and Marchie breakdown what we made of the game last Saturday. What were the causes for the defense struggling in the first few quarters? What does the win mean going mean for the program going forward?

The Big 12 also released their end of season awards and All-Big 12 teams, of which Iowa State only had one first teamer. We talked about who we think got snubbed, and who didn’t get enough credit for their performance this season. Most notably, how did David Montgomery end up on the Second Team All-Big 12?

None of us know anything about Drake, so we just talked about what we’d like to see on Saturday, including which freshman we’re excited to get a peek at.

Finally we wrapped up with the basketball and talked about their solid start to the season, and what the rotation might look like once everyone is healthy. We also talked about why Iowa State matches up extremely well with Iowa in next week’s CyHawk basketball game.
