Iowa State will be bowling for the second straight season under Matt Campbell. The Cyclones were selected to play Washington State in the Alamo Bowl!

Iowa State finished the regular season 8-4 and now will try to win their 9th game of the season when they travel to San Antonio on December 28th. This will be the 14th bowl appearance in the program history and second under Matt Campbell.

Thankfully Iowa State will have a little bit of time to get rested up to be at full strength for the bowl game. The Cyclones have a few nagging injuries that need to be taken care but look to be nothing too serious leading up to the bowl game.

Ticket information will be released by Iowa State later today, so be sure to be on the lookout for that. Stay tuned to WRNL as we breakdown the matchup in the coming days and all the way leading up to the game.
